Peter De La Torre, CSSYB | The Execution Architect

& Creator of "The Magic of 13 Weeks"

Peter De La Torre is not just a corporate trainer; he is an Execution Architect with over 40 years of battle-tested leadership across five industry sectors. Recognizing that most organizations do not suffer from a lack of strategy, but from a lack of action, Peter specializes in closing the "Execution Gap"—the critical disparity between what leaders know they should do and what they are willing to do.

As the creator of "The Magic of 13 Weeks™," Peter installs a Self-Correcting Performance System that dismantles "Annualized Lethargy." By redefining the business calendar, he equips sales professionals and executive teams to trigger a "Year-End Push" four times a calendar year, ensuring that high performance is not a random event, but a disciplined habit.

Peter’s methodology is uniquely powered by his dual certifications in Blue Ocean Strategy and Lean Six Sigma. He combines the "Blue Ocean" mindset of creating uncontested market space with the rigorous process control of Six Sigma to eliminate "busy work" and maximize Revenue Producing Activities (R.P.A.s). His strategic expertise is further complemented by his graduation from the prestigious Hispanic Leadership Academy at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

His approach is deeply rooted in the principles of his 5-star global book, Connect With Ruthless Honesty. weaving in his powerful personal story of overcoming life-altering adversity, Peter helps leaders identify the "Great Blind Spots" that impede growth. He moves audiences from "Interest" to "Commitment," teaching them to act on their agreements rather than their feelings.

A influential voice in the South Florida business community, Peter’s legacy includes his tenure as Founding Executive Director of the Doral Business Council and the visionary behind “Biz Re-Boot 2020.” A two-time recipient of the SBA Small Business Media Advocate of the Year award, he has spent decades amplifying the visions of change-makers.

Today, Peter does not just deliver seminars; he engineers execution. He empowers professionals to stop managing time, start managing agreements, and achieve 12 months of productivity in just 13 weeks.

Forged in Experience, Ignited by Adversity.

For over 16 years, Peter operated as a successful corporate trainer and business consultant. But being ruthlessly honest, he was in survival mode, putting Band-Aids on organizational problems just like everyone else. That all changed in the spring of 2021.

Following a bout with polymyalgia rheumatica, he received a sudden and terrifying dose of reality: a Category 3 prostate cancer diagnosis. The word cancer froze him with absolute fear, but it ultimately served as God's wake-up call to stop making excuses and confront his own "Great Blind Spots". Peter decided to take aggressive action to fight an aggressive cancer. Following a successful surgery, he emerged 100% cancer-free. God gave him a divine second chance at life, but he knew he could not go back to the same mindset that had previously held him back.

A New Methodology and Mindset

Surviving cancer fundamentally dismantled how he viewed time, urgency, and business. It forced him to look at his 16 years of consulting data and restructure everything he knew. Peter stopped delivering passive seminars and took his decades of experience to engineer a definitive, self-correcting performance system.

That is how The Magic of 13 Weeks™ was born. To anchor this transformation, he wrote his global 5-star book, Connect With Ruthless Honesty: The Freedom to Succeed in Life and in Business. The book weaves his personal story of overcoming life-threatening adversity with the foundational mindset strategies required to separate truth from facts and operate from objective reality.

A Repurposed Calling

A Repurposed Calling

Vision

A business world where the gap between ambition and achievement is permanently closed, and leaders possess the freedom to succeed through a culture of ruthless honesty and disciplined execution.

Mission

Mission

To dismantle 'Annualized Lethargy' in organizations by installing Self-Correcting Performance Systems. We equip leaders to stop competing and start creating, ensuring they act on their commitments rather than their feelings to drive measurable, high-performance results.

Core Values

Core Values

RUTHLESS HONESTY (Truth Over Comfort)

We believe that the "Great Blind Spot" in business is the refusal to face reality. We separate truth from facts and operate from objective reality. We speak the hard truths that others avoid because growth cannot happen in the dark.

EXECUTION OVER INTENTION (The Commitment Standard)

We know that interest is doing what is convenient, but commitment is doing what is required. We do not measure success by plans or meetings; we measure it by Revenue Producing Activities (R.P.A.s) and the tangible closing of the Execution Gap.

CREATION OVER COMPETITION (The Blue Ocean Mindset)

We refuse to fight for scraps in "Red Oceans." We use our energy to reconstruct market boundaries and create uncontested space. We do not try to beat the competition; we make them irrelevant by delivering unique value.

THE VELOCITY OF NOW (Strategic Periodization)

We respect the scarcity of time. We reject "The 12-Month Mirage" that creates complacency. We treat every 13 weeks as a full year, operating with a "Year-End Push" intensity four times a calendar year to maximize impact.

CONNECTED IMPACT (Service Beyond Self)

We believe success is not a solo sport; it requires connecting with the right people for the right reasons. We strive to be a catalyst for hope and wellness, understanding that when we lift others, we rise.

The 13-Week Manifesto

- Our Core Philosophy -

We Believe that the greatest threat to business growth is not the competition, the economy, or technology. It is the Execution Gap—the alarming disparity between what leaders know they should do and what they are willing to do.

We Reject “Annualized Lethargy." We refuse to subscribe to the "12-Month Mirage”the complacent belief that there is plenty of time to catch up later. We know that annualized thinking allows teams to coast for ten months and scramble for two.

Our Reality: 13 Weeks = 1 Year.

Our Pace: We trigger a "Year-End Push" four times a calendar year.

We are architects of Execution. We do not mistake movement for achievement. We are ruthlessly honest about how we spend our time.

The Standard: We dedicate 75% of our work week to Revenue Producing Activities (R.P.A.s).

The Discipline: We act on our commitments, not our feelings.

We stop competing and start creating. We refuse to fight for scraps in a "Red Ocean" of saturated competition. We do not try to beat rivals; we make them irrelevant by implementing a “Blue Ocean Strategy” creating uncontested market space. We innovate value, not just lower prices.

We lead with Ruthless Honesty. We believe that growth cannot happen in the dark. We have the courage to identify our "Great Blind Spots" and the humility to address them. We separate truth from facts and operate from objective reality.

We are fueled by Personal Vision. We know that corporate goals are meaningless without personal stakes. We connect our daily grind to our ultimate personal freedom. We do not need to be micromanaged because we own the outcome.

We do not deliver seminars; We install an Execution Operation System. Traditional training is an event; high performance is a process. We understand that inspiration is fleeting, but a system is sustainable. We install the 13-Week Operating System to ensure that high performance is not an accident—it is a habit.

We do not rely on algorithms to do the work. In the era of Artificial Intelligence, knowledge and strategy have become cheap commodities, but execution is a rare currency. A.I. can generate a flawless 12-month business plan in seconds, but it cannot automate human commitment

"Peter and I go back a good ten years.  While those 10 years have gone by exceptionally quick, Peter and I have been through a lot together professionally as well as personally.  We have supported each other thru some great times as well as some tough times.  Throughout these years Peter has always been very supportive of the hotel and has helped us continue to strength the deep roots we have in the Doral and greater Miami Dade County Community.  He has been an inspiration and supportive figure in many ways and for this I am exceptionally grateful.  I am confident that we will continue to work together as we continue to support and strengthen our community.

Peter is a consummate professional in all he does and someone that I am proud to call a friend!"

The "Voice of Business" & Execution Architect

For over 15 years, Peter De La Torre has operated as an Execution Architect,

a role he refined while simultaneously serving as 'The Voice of Business in South Florida.'

During his 13-year tenure on air, Peter did not just host a show; he conducted a live, longitudinal study on high performance. Broadcasting over 2,000 hours of programming and conducting 2,500 interviews with Local, National, and Global Thought Leaders, he treated every conversation as data. This decade+ of research revealed a critical 'Blind Spot' in the corporate world: most leaders do not suffer from a lack of knowledge, but from an Execution Gap. They are exhausted by 'Red Ocean' competition and 'Annualized Lethargy,' often leaving thousands of dollars in training forgotten by Tuesday.

Today, Peter leverages those curated insights not just to inspire, but to install systems. He has evolved from sharing strategies on air to embedding them on the ground. As the creator of the Magic of 13 Weeks™, he helps organizations move from 'fleeting motivation' to 'ruthless consistency,' ensuring that the timely insights shared by global leaders are converted into a 50% productivity increase within 90 days.

Philanthropy

Active Stewardship

Peter executes on his values with the same rigorous commitment he brings to the boardroom. Believing that true leadership requires active stewardship, he champions three pivotal organizations that solve critical human crises: A Safe Haven For Newborns (saving abandoned babies), The Caring Place (transforming the lives of the homeless), and Sebastian Strong (funding discovery for pediatric cancer). For Peter, social responsibility isn't a passive interest; it is a core discipline of his human-centric leadership philosophy, proving that the most meaningful metric of success is the lives we impact.
